They are in a heated battle, who is the winner?

Intel BLKDQ965GFEKR Socket T (LGA 775) Intel Q965 Express Micro ATX Intel
URL: Intel

ASUS P5B Deluxe Socket T (LGA 775) Intel P965 Express ATX Intel
URL: ASUS

Which one wins??

Any other great motherboard suggestions, I just cant decide..

The ASUS P5B Deluxe is the better of the two. I would've thought, although not always the case, you would've seen that from the price difference.

Price difference?? You mean more features even reltative to the higher price, or the lower price with a good number of features...?

They are fairly similar, the P5B will have better/easier overclocking options but if you just plan to run stock go with the intel brand board.

I mean, usually (but not always the case), the more expensive of the two products is probably better one. ;)

But Cromewell is right - do you plan to overclock or play games?

If not, get the Intel motherboard...

I plan to play games and I am getting a 7900GS, but I do not get what Overclocking is at all, what is it?

Hmmm, well, you might want to get the ASUS one then. You'll get better gaming performance with the ASUS motherboard than you will with the Intel one.

Overclocking (in general) is where you push a computer component past it's operating speed at retail. For example, if you overclock a CPU, you increase it's clock frequency, thus making it faster. However, the more you overclock, the less stable your computer works.

And so, as you may be able to tell, you need a good motherboard to overclock your components stably. This is why the ASUS is a good choice for overclocking, but not the best one, if you solely want to overclock. :)
