Computer's File move to other Computer

Hello. I have sure question about how be?
My computer only have cd-burn cuz I cant copy to cd. My video was 2 GB. My roommate had computer's Dvd-burn.
We have UBS to UBS
I just find out how be copy send to his computer?:confused:
Can you tell me how on computer send to other computer.

I have a CD-burner, yet I cannot copy to a cd (the file is a single piece of 2gb). My roomate currently has my Dvd-Burner, but we have USB to USB connection. I would just like to find out how to connect the two computers and send the file.
Can you tell me how to send to the other computer?

Answer: You can network them together with an ethernet cord and tranfser it across the lan. This will onlt work if the computers are very close to each other, in the same room. Will this work?

My roommate's computer do not on the internet line. Because he will need firewall as soon. It is can comptuer give to other computer of files use on UBS to USB connection?
 
i think u can go on an instant messaging program and send them to eachother. i did it with my other computer and boy do the files zip through fast.
