Best PCI-E for $250....

what's the best PCI-E card i can get with $250 shipped from newegg....


i want one that will take a sh!t on my 7800gt i got now......

I messed around on GPUReview a bit, and if you could overclock a 7900GT from 450MHz to 650MHz core clock, it'd be the same specs as the GTO. Good luck doing that :rolleyes:

Hehe, as others said, a x1900xt is probably your best bet.
 
i tried comparing that card on the charts on Tomshardware, but it doesn't list that card. Only lists the XTX and PRO..... is that card really better than a 7950gt?
 
The X1950xt performs little better than 7950GT
X1950pro performs equally to 7900GS

But anyway you need at least 8800GTS if you want to see a big difference.
The 7800GT is still a good card, and I recommend to wait for couple of months until R600 comes out and then prices for G80 should go down

The XT is almost identical to the XTX, theres only a small core/memory speed difference.
