8800GTS preforms as good as two 7900GT in SLI
8800GTX performs as good as two X1950xtx in crossfire

So, 8800GTS/GTX should outperform two 7800GT and don't forget that geforce 8800 support DX10

No, any of the G80 series performs better overall than any previous card in SLI/CF, with the exception of the 7950GX2.

My card outperforms 2x 7900GTX's, x1950XTX's, ect.
 
I don't know but according to the benchmarks in techreport, two 7900GT in SLI performed better than 8800GTS in Quake4 and FEAR. In the other games the 8800GTS performed better

X1950xtx performed equally to 8800GTS in FEAR

7950GX2 performed better than 8800GTS in FEAR and quake4

I can agree that 8800GTX can outperform any previous card in SLI/CF, but the 8800GTS performs equally to 7950GX2 and a little better than X1950xtx

But since 8800GTS supports DX10 and newer technologies, then 8800GTS might perform better in future games than the previous card in SLI/CF, but currently it can not.

Exactly, in current games the G80 performs just a bit better then any other video card, but in games that take advantage of DX10's new features, the G80 will have a significant improvement.
