GeForce 7300GT

They're both GT, but the second one has DDR2. The first has GDDR3. GDDR3 is better than DDR2. It's worth the extra $13.

The 7600GT is the MUCH better deal, the 7300GT is more for media center PC's who want the benefits that the G70 offers, but without the need for high-end gaming performance.

Having used both, I have to agree with the consensus. The 7600 GT is MUCH better then the 7300 GT.

I am able to run most games I play at the highest settings using the rig in my sig.

When I had the 7300, I was stuck at medium at best.

you are wrong

7600GT>7600GS>7300GT

I thought there was two versions of the 7300GT, and one was equal to the 7600GS, but I guess I am wrong. You have to enable the disabled pipelines on the 7300GT and overclock it to get it to 7600GS speeds.

Yea there is GDDR3 version of 7300GT, but it is rarely found in the market

I think the GDDR3 version performs very close to 7600GS

Ah, that was it. I thought it had something to do with the memory being a different type...
