Pci Modems:Bearly used these days?

Are Internal Pci 64K Modems used much anymore exept for those people wo still use Dial-Up?

I took my Agere PCI Soft Modem out because i dont use it.

Do you think someone would be intrested in buying it or are they bearly used these days?

Im thinking about advertising my spare stick of ram (Pc3200 256Mb) and this modem in my local bargian pages which is an advertisement paper over here in the uk.
 
To be honest those modems aren't worth the wasted time to advertise them. They're quite useless.

I have a couple of 56k USRobotics hardware voice modems. One of them I use in a server to run as a fax server for the network, the other one, although I can't remember which computer I put it in, isn't being used for anything. Even these modems aren't worth anything anymore, and they'll slaughter any software modem.
 
Stick in the paper, you could get some unknowing old person to buy it for 10 times what anybody would pay for it here.

Lol thats cruel..I would never rip off someone because i wouldnt like to be ripped of myself....might just sell the ram i have then and just advertise the Modem with it.

And if anyones intrested in the both then thats great...I just want the ram out of the way realy.

They aren't worth the shipping used to send them :)

No lol off course they arent...I wouldnt ship them...Just sell them where i live in the uk cheaply.

I just want them out the way.

Yeah actualy you saying that in my Highschool Computer room they had all the internals of a computer stuck on the wall...Mobo... processor... hdd...but someone stolen the ram because it was missing:D
 
Yeah, I guess they would sell if the right person saw it. Thing is, most people don't go looking through ads and flyers for those type of modems anymore.:) They rather just go to a best buy or something and pick up one for cheap. It's just easier.
 
Dial-Up modems are pretty useless these days, so selling a modem would be kinda pointless, might as well give it away.
 
I still use one, i ant get high speed net at home. have fried 3 in the last 2 years. makes me glad they are cheap lol
