vf700 and 7900GTO

Hi peeps, getting this card in a few days, thinking about doing a VM to it, I ahve one problem though, the cooler Im looking at getting (Zalman vf700) has no direct contact to the vga ram on this card, but still says it will cool it, I just want to know whether I should chance this or not, and am wondering if any of you guys have the same cooler on a 7900 based card?

It is kinda shaky whether it would be good or not.. Try the Arctic Cooling Accelero X1.
 
Yeah i just noticed that thanks:)

Do you thinkthis cooler will be able to cope with a VM

Cos its got a huge descent fan, double slot cooler and ramsinks:)



The reason I am a bit weary about going with an AMC is because all the coolers I can find, none of them have direct contact with the vram.

Doesn't the X1 work with your card? It has direct contact...
