Transferring files to new computer

My brother just got a new computer. He wants to try to save all of his MP3s he downloaded off of Aries and his Musicmatch files. Is there a way to do this without burning them onto cd? {Such as through the use of ethernet/transfer wizard etc?} What is the best method to use? He is running WindowsXP.

Setting up the 2 computers on a network and sharing the folders the music is in on the computer with the music. Then through the network connection from the new computer copy them to a folder on the new computer. Make sense?
 
KUSAMA those are great ideas, but I don't have access to either right now. Sorry, I should have been more specific. I was just wondering if I can do this through setting up a LAN with Ethernet and transferring it?

GREY- yeah that makes perfect sense. That's what I needed to know! I just wanted to make sure there wasn't some stipulation as to why I wouldn't be able to pull it off.

Not unless the files are protected some way. Which I don't know if they are. But I move my itunes crap around all the time and thats a finicky program if I've ever seen one. Good luck. Just make sure to run the network setup wizard on both PC's and make sure they're on the same Workgroup. I always just use MSHOME to keep it simple!
 
One last question as Im going over there to see if I can pull this off.

He is having trouble locating those files on his hard drive. They aren't in his My Music folder. Is there a default where the Aries files go, or am I going to get to play the tech version of Needle In A Haystack?

There should be an option in the program to see where they are saved to. Use that to find the folder. Otherwise search for a song used in the program only.
