wow, much higher standard than i was expecting... maybe thats a reflection on my poor photoshop skills
#1= This is a very nice effect, but i feel would have suited a different more pleasant theme, they say that good art, like good music should given one an impression of something tangible... id say this make me feel or almost taste sherbet
#2 =Very god effect. Above the waves there appear to be large water drops. Almost like they are on the lens of the camera, these give the impression of rain, and stormy seas. But below the boat the sea looks like its been scratched out of the surface, dramatic cuts that real make you feel something hectic is happening down there.
#3 = Full credit, this picture, while less subtle than the others, cleary makes one feel terror. The seamen are caught between the fear of the fire, and the fear of what i assume is a Nuzgul
#4 = Very much like the poster to some movie, the church wasn't the issue for me... it was in keeping with the theme, and gave one the impression that this scene was part of someone's memory. As the emotion of the events have twisted his recollection, he merges the fear he felt with other scenes from his past. I liked it
For me #2 wins, but it was close between 2 and 4
, but after seeing the topic, I probably would have voted for #4.
