Let's just say...

Clock speeds starting from 3.4 GHz are reserved for the Pentium 5, which should be celebrating its debut this year

Essentially, almost all of the Pentium 5's new features are known, and this new processor, like its predecessor, is built on Netburst architecture (more on this later on in the article).

the P4 3.2 GHz for about $700)

The essential details of the new Pentium 5 are already known today. However, it's not completely clear if the processor with the Prescott core will be called "Pentium 5" or not.

The first Pentium 5s will be sold (Q4 2003) in the old structure

:D

why would they want to use a half ball connector???

Uhh... they do, it's called the LGA775 socket.

do you think that vi have to stop producing new computers?
what gonna happen to humans after 500 years with this technology which is growing everyday.???

That has nothing to do with the article...

I quoted some funny parts from that article.

Well THG was never that good to begin with, plus I believe they were Intel sponsered for a bit.
What are the funny parts? Pentium 5? There was supposed to be a pentium 5 it's just prescotts numbers didn't put it over the top. You can't call moving from a 20 someodd stage pipe to about a 31 a minor architectural change :P
