why the price difference?

can someone tell me whats so different about them? they seems the same to me except the pricetag and the 1 mb chech

The Cedar Mill is a 65nm processor compared to the prescott which is 90nm

As the others have said, the Cedar Mill is 65nm and has twice the L2 cache. It also performs a bit better and runs cooler, but IMO it's not worth $70 more.
