Hi,

Anyone know where i can get a quite cheap external Hard drive from in the uk?

I know i can get a hard drive from anywhere but they are all like 250Gb and 500Gb max.

I dont need that much space so it would be a waste of money buying that much.
All i need is about a 100Gb hard drive,But i cant find any less than 250Gb.
I want it external so i can transfer stuff to other pcs.

I dont realy a price limit because i will decide upon the price if you nkow what i mean.

Its still like 60Gb bigger than i need but i cant find any smaller.

i bought 200gb external hd from ebay seller envizage2000 was about £70 transferred all my music to it,the only thing is,if it is switched off for a length of time will i lose the data insideor does it stay there regardless?

Well that doesnt sound too good:D You transfered music files to it and then they dissapeared?
Maybe its faulty?

Anyway i also think you got ripped of.... £70 second hand is a rip off.

You can get a brand new 320Gb Maxtor external hard drive for £69.99 here..

Actualy i might get that myself.
 
on ebay, a 100GB external is $80-100 US, while a 300GB can be had for $115 US.

I'm sure you could find SOME use for the extra space.
