i belive that you can..the e1705 has the same chassi desing as the e1505

Even if that particular one is upgradeable, you're very limited to your selection. Just any ol' card will not work, you'd have to get something made specifically for that laptop.

ok, just got off the phone with dell, they say that my ATI is the highest card that i put in there.. he says that it is upgradeable.

i have a ATI x1400 and the dell rep says i cant go any higer from them, i would have to call a seperate retailer.
