Yeah, right... I'm quite sure even a much lower end system could outperform a PS3. Besides, much of the performace(well for PCs) is from their GPU, not so much their CPU.
If you had a QX6700, four or eight gigs of Corsair Dominator, that EVGA 680i board, two 8800GTXs in SLi, and two RAIDed 500Gb 7200RPM SATAIIs, then probably. (I know that you cant yet SLi the 8800.)
What makes you say that? You can indeed SLI two 8800s.(I know that you cant yet SLi the 8800.)
I forget where i heard it (yeah i know thats no help) but apparently the ps3 has an equivelent of a Geforce 7800gtx

Correct, The ps3 uses the R80 for there GPUs.
Yes you can, many people have benchmarked their computers with dual 8800GTS's and GTX's.(I know that you cant yet SLi the 8800.)
