How good is the EVGA 7900GS??? Newegg doesn't have the 7950gt I want and there are no 7900GT left. will it be good enough to play most games at high setting at high res with good FPS???

Or should I just suck it up and get the 7950GT that is $270???

BTW i will be using the EVGA step-up program to get a 8800GTS/GTX in the next three months

If you want to spend that much money i would get the 7950GT it is better then the 7900GS. Otherwise the 7900GS should still be able to play games at high res with reasonabyl good FPS.

If your using the step-up in a few months you should just get the 7900GS because that is a very nice card as of now and will play alot of games maxed out. Just hold out for a few months with it and you will be saving some money for the time being.
