hellow, i have just ran speed fan.

i dont know how to read it.

it says:

Temp1: 33C
Temp2: 29C
Temp3: -1C
HD0: 32C

I find these temperatures a bit high.... i have arctic cooling freezer pro and i got no clue which temp is the CPU temp.

Thanks for your guidance.

EDIT: I have the antec Sonata II case, there is a 120 MM fan at the back, i Set it to low because @ medium, the case gets loud. Is the low setting not good?

no, those temps are perfect.
run prime95 (in dual instances if you have dual core) to get a load temp for us. mine ends up around 45C full load.

We don't know for sure until you run Prime95. Probably temp 1 is your processor, temp 2 is your motherboard, and HD0 is your hard drive.

Ignore temp 3.

is 34C @ stock settings w/ Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 too high?

Some people say they get 23C

xD, is my processor/heat sink defected?

34C is idle, and I HAVE A BIG COOLER....its 25C in my room

/sob, i got the cooler yesterday and it doesnt seem to decrease my temp a lot

the P4 1.7 Ghz i had before runs @ 38C idle

It probably won't change the idle temp much, just mainly the load temp. Really, it's not that bad, just +9C. That would be roughly equal to 27C idle if you had an 18C room, which is what many people keep theirs at. What type of cooler do you have?
