Recomend? I'm going for high end gaming, want to spend less than $300, mobo can support up to 1200 mhz ddr2

HELP! I don't know if this memory will work! Also, do you think I should downgrade to PC6400 (800mhz) to saze money, how much will the fifference be, I want a solid gaming computer.

Graphics Card (already have this)

Please give suggestions and tips as well as recomendations for parts I am missing.
 
ok well would ddr2 667 be good enough for anygame aswell
and is an nforce sli board better for gaming than just any regular board when paired with just 1 card or is it the same, only better when paired with 2 cards becasue it can support them

DDR2-800 is ideal, but DDR2-667 will be fine as well. Just make sure to get 2GB.

An SLI board will offer the same performance compared to a normal board when just one graphics card is used, but it will perform better if two graphics cards are used in SLi.
 
ok thanks you guys, but now I'm thinking about switching to a cheaper mobo and droppng SLI, because I will have no use for it, I just need a cheap core 2 duo board with ddr2 800 memory capabilities, anyone no of a good board?
