It beats the eVga 680i? you dont say...

no way, why? the eVga is ridden with SATA and RAID problems, even after the BIOS update. i dont want data corruption, thats for sure

El samo here. (Pseudo spanish rocks!) Abit is just trying to live up to the recent standard set by eVGA, a company i trust much more. I dont see how that board would be any better than the eVGA.

I never had any SATA problems with mine, and they came out with a BIOS update December 21st that said to get rid of the RAID problems that a select few have.

Same here, especially since it looks to be alot cheaper as well.
 
ok ok you guys win, but when I buy my board in march or around then, will the BIOS be already updated before I buy it? or will I have to update because I dont really want to. Is it hard?

It's very easy with the 680i. It comes with a cool Windows-based flashing utility.

All you need to do is download the BIOS from the website, open up nTune, and then there will be an update section where all you have to do is point it to the BIOS file, and click update.
