Yea, LCD and plasma are very different. I would go with LCD if you have the option.

Personally I'd go for an LCD. Plasma's are great though. I only mentioned it because your thread title is

but your link leads to an LCD... Seemed as though you thought it lead to a plasma... So I'm just saying, if you really want a plasma then you do not want the screen that link leads too .
