Will BF1942 work ok on this comp?

He asked about BF1942, not 2142. If you got another video card, you should be ok. But with specs like that, I suspect you only have PCI and won't have much of an upgrade path.
 
k, thanks, i figured bf1942'd crap out, me and my bro have a few comps here, and i wasnt gonna put one together if we couldnt all play on network

1942 works on my IBM laptop
specs:
-2.0GHZ processor
-768mb ram
-16mb ATI mobility gfx card

runs 1942 on high settings :)
 
battlefield 2142 wouldnt run at all same for 1942. Cs source wouldn't run on there neither sadly.

maybe bc the last 2 numbers are the same?

Css has much better graphics and better game play than 1.6 so it strains the pc more.

You forgot your <Sarcasm></Sarcasm> tags. :D

And like the others have said it would probably not run on that setup, mostly since the GPU doesn't probably support HWT&L.
