Free pc to phone calls?

As far as I know, Skype never allowed free PC to landline / mobile phone calls... Only PC to PC calls were free.
No it was free up until december 31st, I used it all the time to make long distance phone calls but now you have to pay for it

Skype is not free and also I prefer VOIPSTUNT.
I use it, you can call for free but not to everyone.
its also very much cheaper than skype.

I am looking for a way to make free long distance calls within the USA I am not looking for free software that I need to purchase minutes or an account as that defeats the purpose of calling for free. If I cant get free long distance I will just tell my phone company I want long distance service.
