Hey sorry for being so stupid, but I just dont know, lets say I have a computer that has that integrated graphics thing, can I install a video card like a 7900gs on it(it has a PCI express x16 slot), will it work or will I have to get a different mobo?

so long as the pci-e slot is open u can upgrade.

Yes. if your PC has a PCIe x16 slot, it will allow you to install a video card.
A very simple process, insructions will come with the card

Basically you just open the case, insert the card, close the case, attach the monitor to the card, reboot and use the install CD.

Very easy. I installed my new card today and it took me 10 mins to do everything.

If you have integrated, you might have to disable it in the BIOS but other than that, just follow what the others have said.
