Greetings. I know this type of question should be somewere else - but this forum is simply the first you looking at when You enter "Computer Forum". Sorry for that. Now - my problem. So... About a week ago i changed my computer components. Now i have (it's only a half of an upgrade) Pentium 4 Prescott 3ghz/ Graphic card: nVidia 5500/Ram: 256 DDR II/Sound: Sound Blaster Audigy/Motherboard: ASRock DualVSTA 775. In my older thing - there were Pentium III 500mhz/RAM: 386 sdram/Some old motherboard. And the rest was as it is now. My problem's like that:
Before an upgrade - my comupter was working very stabile. Games were always running - faster, slower, but were running, and there was NEVER a moment of longer computer "thinking".
Now - Games are running very fast - it's true. Everythings fine... BUT - sometimes (ex. When i'm playing Ultimate Spiderman) computer just start thinking... And usually i have to reset it (computer's thinking for long time).
My question is - why's that happening? Is this RAM's fault (when i'll have more - it'll stop?). Or maybe it's problem of a different nature.
I'm working on Windows XP PRO Edition with Service Pack 1.
Sorry for any bugs in the text - i'm from Poland. Thanks for any answers - and God Bless You
