If you had $1300 to spend?

Im going to build a gaming computer to be able to play Battlefield 2142. The budget is just for the Tower... Can anyone please give me a breakdown on the specs and pricing that they had experience in building or hve a 100% confident potential to be a badass gaming rig within the budget? Thanks in advance. Sorry for the noobish help, Ive been out dated about computers for the past 1 1/4 years and technology is moving too fast. Thanks again!

The one in my sig is 1500 and if you went down to a Core 2 Duo E6400 and a less expensive mobo you should be under or close to 1300. Core 2 Duo is the top of the line right now(except for Core 2 Qauds 900$). The mobo is $250 but there are much less expensive ones.

a 7900 is still awsome, but for value and power go for the 1900xt

is your $1500 setup include your 19" LCD???

The rig in the sig here cost me about $1400 at the time of purchase (about 6 months ago)... should have gone down a lot now though,

no without the monitor and I'm not sticking with the 7900 that's just temp until new DX10 cards come out.
