FIRST: I refuse to let my sister know my new email address because she puts my Email address posting "jokes" in either To: or Cc: entry then sends it off to a dozen people when she (and others for that matter) should use the Bcc: entry, and before long I am bogged down with spam crap.
LESSON 1: YOU DONT WANT SPAM, DONT SEND JOKES BY EMAIL, I think now if you want jokes you google it, you can get all the jokes you want.
Dont get we wrong I dont mind spam if it was say from, the place down the road were I get my weekly food from that told me what they had on special this week, but this is the point I never do, once I got spam some place overseas wanted to dry clean my cloths, it would be cheaper almost if I trashed my used cloths and brought new cloths to replace it with.
Once I had a friend who stuck my name in the Cc: and that got me spam fast, I was so angry I finished up my friendship with him, now he is dead, the best part with my new Email address I dont get any spam.
SECOND: Why is it people still love sending HTML emails when plain text black font on white background will do just as good. You work it out millions of people all over the world all sending HTML email when plan text will do just as well, wasting thousands of millions of bytes of Internet bandwidth (no wonder Internet is getting so ssssllllooooowwwww) (OK I may pull your tit a bit there). I have a email download limit on my mail, any email over 15K does not get downloaded, this is the left over from the days when people used to send email viruses, most of the time this work good I can get a lot of Email, then some new kids comes to the block and I go to www.mail2web.com to see if the mail is safe, then to get my own back I reply white font on white background, you can really get some people stressed out using that trick (hehehe
). The real problem is Mircosucks sets up their email programs by default to HTML
