32 or 64 Bit?

My question is short - how can i know, is my OS 32 or 64 Bit?

Adding to what cuffless said, when you brought your computer you would have been told if it was 64 bit because this would be a major selling point. Or if you still don't know download a program called cpu-z and check whether your processor is 32 bit or 64 bit.

Do you know what type of processor you have?

And do you know if your have XP Home or Pro? Because XP Home only comes in the 32-Bit version.

Yes - i know
I have Pentium 4 Prescott 3GHZ and Windows XP Professional 32 Bit
(i've checked with "PC Wizard 2006").

sorry going a little of topic here but what advantages do you get with 64 as opposed to 32?
