How to remove viruses that cant be detected?

Well I scanned my hard drive with Windows Defender and AVG and came up clean. However I scanned it with Spyware Doctor and came up severally infected. So what program can I download for free that is good enough to detect the files Windows Defender and AVG missed?

Just look at the path of the infected file. (C:\Windows, etc) Then go and find that file, and delete. Note that you may be deleting important files...use caution when you do this.

umm, try using

try using avg anti spyware, also spybot search and destroy, maybe even run ccleaner, avast, karpawsky is also good..

well

well did u state what avg did u use? NO im just trying to help u , and saying i used avg isnt making it easy, there are many avg versions, free / pro / anti spyware / internet security .. so dont start giving me atitude because im trying to help you.

actually u could of taken a glance at the screenshot and recognized that he's using avg free edition and doesn't have an avg anti-spyware icon on his desktop

oh and I would try ad-aware or spybot S&D as they will detect the tracking-cookies to remove them, avg and defender won't

Ok sorry I was pissed at some other guy on another forum that was being dumb. Anyway I have AD-Aware SE personal free and AVG Anti-Virus. I downloaded Spybot S&D and it found some tracking cookies the others did not find, but there are still over 40 infected files remaining.

be careful some anti-viruses/spyware will detect items that are really no threat to your system(because the more it detects the more you think it works admit it), tracking cookies for instance, they could be harmful but more than likely they were just used to see what site you went to for statistics and nothing more. What are the files called and what is their level on spyware doctor?
