Everyone know that Window Vista Premium request a 1 GHz 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor1 so im jsut wondering if my processor is a x64 one ? if its a x32 should i get Vista home basic instate ? Im wokring vista with my system below ( sign ) thz

You wrote 64 bit in your sig and you're asking if it's x64 or not !
And that has nothing to do with which edition of Vista you choose, every edition has an x86 and x64 version

Did they even make 64-Bit 2.8Ghz P4's? I thought 3.0 was the lowest...

If your processor is 32-Bit, you need to buy the 32-Bit version of Vista. Im not sure if there will only be one, or if they will have 32-Bit versions of every Vista edition.

My processor is 511J 533mhz 2.8GHZ im not too sure either .. what if a 64bit Vista is install on a 32bit processor ? extreme lagging ?

from what I have read, prememium just seems like a waste of money. Considering all that extra crap that comes with it, there are like tons of open source, and better apps out there, plus tons of close source third party apps that you wouldn't need any of it. Unless you wanted to connect to a domain or use any enterprise solution then you would need the version that installs that, which is either ultimate or corporate (can't remember)

They do.

it should do. you might even be able to use aero. you might want to upgrade your ram though

Aero doesn't depend on the processor it depends on the video card.

but what i know my video card cant support . i did the upgrade advisor .. im wondering what areo is .. sorry if i sound abit stupid

If your just a home user, get home edition, it doesnt have all of the flashy effects like flip 3d and aero interface which is the see through glass effect, but it has all of the new features of vista except media center and some pointless encryption and protection features that you probably wont even notice. But if your graphics card can handle it, which chances are it cant because i've seen so much intel extreme crap... then get premium. THe glass to me is the heart of windows vista and without it you are not truely seeing vista through the eyes of someone who has been waiting WAY TO DAMN LONG FOR IT TO COME OUT :) lol
