My question is this: Does this sound like a decent computer? Will it still be good in a year or two before needing to be upgraded? If not, what should I purchase now to make it so that it wont need to be upgraded in at least a year?

What will the computer be used for? Well I tend to do graphic design. Looking at getting into 3D animation. I also play a lot of games. Would love to play Oblivion and other high end games that have been released. My current computer just wont play some of the newer games like Oblivion, 3 years old, so can't complain.

Any comments would be helpful.

Looks like a fairly decent computer...but definately won't be good in a few years...with Quad-core already out from Intel, and coming out shortly from AMD....but that's just how computers are, unfortunately.

Should suit your needs...you may want to bump up that PSU to 550W...how many amps on the +12V rail?

That Enermax unit provides a net +12V@32A, which is quite sufficient for the system in question. I couldn't call it cheap for what you're getting, though.

Thanks all. So say if I wanted to upgrade to a dual graphic card right now, what would you suggest upgrading with it, other then going to a 550 power supply, which I think I will be doing anyway.
