Whats a good PCI-E video card that i can max oblivion with.

The 8800gts/x should be able to max out oblivion along with a good CPU and a enough ram.

Yeah thanks but my only question now is how much power will it take to run that thing. I think i have like 500-550 i know its not that much.

if you have 24 Amp on the 12v rail, you'll be fine and, if you can afford it, id go for the 8800GTS too.. it'll last you longer than ny of the geforce 7 cards

BFG 8800GTS is way much cheaper and it has higher clock speed

well.. the motherboard can deliver 75Watt through the pci-e slot. and iirc the 6-pin pci-e connectors are rated for 75Watt each too.. meaning the card itself can consume 150Watt max (wich is quite a lot actually)
thats 12,5Amp on the 12v rail only for a 8800GTS. so like said.. 24 Amps on the 12v rail of the PSU would be enough.

Depending on the make and model.

I have 29Amps in one of mine which wasn't enough to run the GTS, it used to randomly shut down during intense load.

well.. I mean a PSU that can actually deliver the 24 Amps and keeps the voltage stable at that point =o besides,... since when do you have a GTS? ( Jealous, lol ^^ )
