Open up your browser.

Explorer: (In IE7 hit alt after opening)
Tools > Internet Options > General

Firefox:
Tools > Options > Main
 
I am interested in that because for some reason I can't make IE 7 change my homepage from MSN through internet options. Which brings me a new question. Is firefox a better program than IE? Can I have both on my computer and play around for a while with each and then get rid of what I dont like?
 
Yes you can have them both installed at the same time, I use and prefer FireFox and like it a lot. Plus theres a ton of plugins for FF. :D
 
Firefox is much better than IE (in my opinion). Another one you might want to try out is Opera. I've never personally used it, but it is supposed to be great :).

That's because you either have a browser hijacker, spyware, or even many other things like viruses, etc. Run any anti-spy/virus tools if you haven't already.

This is personal preference.

Yes. Download and install different browsers and try them. For example, others mentioned Firefox and Opera. Another one popular one is Maxthon.
