how do i save a DVD-RW to my cpu? my friend made a DVD that he wants me to edit with my sonic digital media. but i cant save it to my cpu so i can work with it.

CPU stands for "Central Processing Unit" you can't actually save anything to it, so I assume you mean your hard drive. And you should just be able to select the files you want and copy them over to your hard drive.

WMP doesn't rip DVDs

just google a DVD ripper
