How do you renew your internet IP address?
I want to change it because this guy I suspect could be a hacker knows it.

you go into the DOS command screen and type in ipconfig /release and then hit enter. Then type ipconfig /renew then hit enter. note that there is a space before the forward slashes.

thanks, but I have a router, so I can't do that.

restart the router. Unplug it and plug it back in. You will be fine.
