I saw this one coming, Im glad we have more options then just the iPhone. Now I just have to wait 1.5 years for my contract to end to get it.

Although, It might come down to price, all those extra features might make me have to get something cheaper.

isn't the iPhone going to be priced around $800-900 USD too, that is too much for a phone no matter how many bells and whistles it has

HAH!, They had a picture of that in todays issue of pop-sci. All they wrote was that it was the newest phone tech (or something like that) and how it was going to change the way the office works. Is it just me or do all three of those photos look the same, just photoshopped a different phone onto each?

So much competition, how am I going to choose.

The F700 doesn't have 4 GB storage space, and i would say that generally speaking that would make for a big advantage. and the iPhone wil be 500 and 700 dollars not 800 900.

but with an SD card slot upgrading the memory on it as sfr says is going to be cheap as chips.

Personally i think apple will have a big struggle on their hands breaking into the mobile phone market, samsung, nokia and Sony ericsson have enough in the pipeline to blow the iphone out of the water by the end of the year and probably for half the price.

..I really like my iPod but I have absolutely no interest in the iPhone. I bought the Sony Ericson w810i in December and it is perfect for me.

Even though the big three (and Motorola) have the marketplace dominated, Apple has the resources to break into any marketplace and compete.
