Is it possible?

Unless you pay extra to be able to do that, then it sounds illegal to me. In that case it would be against forum rules to talk about it.

Is it possible to burn songs that are protected? If so, how?

I don't think this is illegal, but I think it depends on the case. For example iTunes mp3's that are downloaded are protected with Fairplay, which allows you to burn the protected mp3's a limited number of times.

Yeah I understand your question and it can be both legal and illegal depending on the use...

Itunes lets you burn your protected mp3 as long as the computer is allowed to listen to them (you only have 5 permissions to give so that means five computers).
