if i got a bfg 8800gts it comes with a hdtv cable how would i plug that to a hd tv? Also other video cards (8800gts) comes with s video composite and my tv has the same outlet would this let me hook up my computer to the tv?? thank you

To answer your question, if it has an S-video out you can either hook it up to your tv using an S-video(not recommended), or it might come with an S-video to component which will work tremendously better. Or you can hook it up with a DVI cable if your TV has the input.

On a side note, instead of creating a new thread for every question you have about the 8800 series, why don't you make a single thread entitled "8800 questions" or something like that, and just add the questions as they pop in your head.

it looks like the link that you have above gave a bunch of cable selections, but were it says HDTV cable, looks like it can hook up to your TV via compoment video. I would get a DVI to HDMI cable.
