Down arrow key sticks

The down arrow function sticks on my computer. The down arrow key itself does not stick but the computer acts as if it is being held down. This means that it keeps scrolling down and the volume in quicktime keeps turning down.

What can I do to get rid of this problem?

If you took out the key and blasted it out with some canned air and it still isn't fixed, I'd say spend the $10 to just replace the keyboard...
