Upgrade MB for sony PCV RX560

I would like to upgrade my Sony PCV RX560 with a new motherboard so I can play MS Flight Sim X. Can the MB on this Particlar PC be replaced with a modern high performance board for gaming? I would like a MB that is expandable to at least 3 gig of ram.

if you change mobo, you're gonna have to buy a retail version of windows and completely reinstall your computer

cause all of the oem software validates itself via the bios on the oem mobo

Guess I'm better off just buying a new system then.

Well my current MB will only expand to 512 meg of ram and the P4 processor is 1.7 GHz. I want to run MS flight sim X with all the settings maxed out and still get good frame rates.
