Painting My Case

Hi,
Say i wanted to paint one of my boring old beige cases black, how would i go about it? Do i need special paint of something?
Thanks

use enamel paint, or just simply spray it! up to you, doesnt really matter.
im sure loads of other nerds are going to suggest all these posh ways of doing it thatll cost you your liver and cat, but at the end of the day...
as long as its not housepaint

obviously take everything out including blanking plates and mask up bits that you don't want painted.

apply a coat of grey primer all over the parts you want painted and when dry(wont take long) use a can of car spray paint(what colour you want) and apply in smooth even strokes all over.

make sure you do it in a ventilated area and not on mummys dining table

You may want to quickly go over the case with a bit of mid range sand paper to ensure that the paint sticks...

You could also try doing some stencils on the side or something :P

Don't forget to post some pictures :D

Is the case metal or plastic? Make sure you ruff it up with some sand paper, then they make a special plastic spray paint that sticks really well, or regular spray paint for metal. If it is already painted you dont need to prime it. Trust me.....i worked at ace hardware for 3 years. lol

righto. Thanks guys...and dont worry i am going to give you plenty of pics :P.

And just so you know, its a metal case that is curently beige.
