Fable on PC isnt working, please help

Fable on my PC isnt working quite right you see... It almost feels like I'm playing a beta. It worked first when I got it no problem but now, even after restoring my computer it still seems a little edgy. It shuts down after I save... Like I'll sit there and play the game, but when I want to save, sometimes it will and sometimes it wont. But more than often wont. The problem here is that it looks like its going into a window but then its just a window of black, music is still playing but then it stops with an error report saying "fable.exe has encountered and error." you know those things where you can send your error report in... but that doesnt help. Please someone tell me whats wrong.

Exactly what i was going to suggest.

Is all your hardware supported by the game as well? I played it on my laptop for about 2 weeks, fun game. But I got it for XBOX too so I just play it on that lol.
