OK, you can see my sig, now tell me, is 35*C idle and 53*C MAX LOAD good temps? Are they acceptable? what should they be at? Am I risking any hardware here?

35c idle a good! *thumbs up*

53c load, is high, nothing to be really scared of but it is high, maybe get a decent after market cooler, a Zalman? :)

EDIT: well, now I see you don't have stock :P

Erm, I don't really know how to bring them down... I don't think they are anything to worry about!

Why Zalman? The Thermaltake BT beats the CNPS9500 at stock, and with an upgrade fan, probably will beat the 9700.

Oh sorry, its only high cuz I was folding for 7 days strait... I had my computer off all night, my idle is 27*C. Haven't gotten my max load yet, but soon.

edit- here is umm...my case...

I have a 120mm fan in between my hard drive holder thing going directly at my mobo, a 80mm fan intake, a 80mm fan out take and a 80mm fan on a slant next to open PCI slots blowing directly on the graphics card...I think thats good...

I have a 120mm on the top, 120mm on the back, 120mm on the wind tunnel in the bottom, 80mm attached to a fanless gpu cooler, an 120mm rigged on my cpu heatsink and a 120mm in the front (currently turned off). I'm not saying you have bad ventilation, but you can always have better :) Also, I would suggest that you should try to at least balance out intake with outtake, if not have more outtake fans.
