I got accepted into College and I want to know how well do you think this course will adequently prepare me for a career as an IT professional.

I guess it'd be very good! There's a lot of networking in there :P

I'm doing a multimedia course at the moment, graphic design, 3D animation, web-design, all good :D

I applied to that too, but they require a portfolio to get in which it didn't state in the application. :mad:

The National Diploma in Multimedia? It's a very good course...

Oh right, Well, I do a load of stuff at home and had done long before I started college so I had one.

I hope your course goes well for you though, I'm sure it will do :D

I'm in Canada. But I don't like it here and want to move to the UK after school.

I've actually wanted to live in the UK since I was quite young, so hopefully I get the opportunity too. :D

Trust me you dont want to move here in the uk....you will get ripped off by our goverment :D
And its always raining here...crappy weather:D

The 45% I get taxed here is ripped off enough, and it's minus 20ish for 6 months of the year, I rather be wet then freezing cold.
