Need new case: cheep, full tower, all 120mm fans, good cooling.

It hasn't caused me problems yet, I don't see any voltage increases, of course, I don't monitor voltage. Besides, do u think I am dumb? I am not gonna run an 8800GTS in a $100 case or on an off-brand PS, I am building a whole new PC for that.

He asked for something cheap and I gave it to him. I'm sure he is plenty smart not to use a "Turbo-Link" (off-brand) power supply for his E6300 or
DS3. I know I am gonna go with Antec or Rosewill. What do ya think?
 
the centurion 5 is great. i have the clear sided one and i think its pretty huge and has excellent airflow. it could easily hold an 8800, and its the best case ever made for 50 bucks
 
Well, I really like that case, but its the same exact dimensions as mine. Any other suggestions?

I wouldn't exactly run a 8800GTS off a Rosewill...:rolleyes:

Anyways, @ADE, you're really not going to find a huge full tower case with really good cooling for ~$50, either you're going to have to up the budget, or stick with something less than impressive.
 
What about $60?...if that dont work is it safe to spray paint my case black? Maybe a few decals?

just let me ask you one thing... what does a bigger case have to do with a better airflow? i thought at the age of 96 you'd know better than that... =o

my current case is one of the cases with the best airflow i've seen so far... I mean.. my current CPU runs at 32*C idle, and 50*C full load (for 1,5 hours).. and its running at 2760MHz (original 2400) and at 1.62volt (original 1.4 iirc)
and i really doubt much full/big-towers reach that tbh.
 
Well more parts (big ones in my case) will constrict airflow a lot, so I need space for it to flow.
 
But the cheapest large towers are also poorly designed. My current case is a mid tower, but it keeps my CPU temp at 26 degrees idle and my passively cooled graphics card at about 40. There's also not much open space in it as its designed with two chambers. So, like Archangle has said, big case does not equal good cooling. A case designed for excellent cooling on the other hand will be much better for you.
 
well, odd as it seems, I'm first gunna try and spray paint custom stuff on my white case that I'm already using and use some silent 80mm fans and see how that goes first.
