how does this build look.

well birthday is tomorrow and im trying to get my dad to get me a new comp. how does this one look. im not looking for top quality but something i can play bf2 and oblivion on high. i also know how to overclock so the proc will end up to be aorund 2.4-2.8 ghz. its easily overclocable. here is the build.. and the subtotal is 570$

You need a PSU. I also don't trust ASRock...they're a cheap, budget brand, not a good, quality brand name.

I agree with computermaineack -

Go with either an ASUS, MSI, something else. More reliable - you'll get better performance if you chose a better motherboard. Hope it helps!

I prefer M/B GIGABYTE GA-965P-DS3 or ASUS P5B-E PLUS P965,1394 IEEE(TI Chips) M/B.
And for HDD, why not usingSeagate? They have 5 year warranty.
By the way, for the optical drive, why are you choosing a combo drive? You should choose a DVD writer!!!

And I think a PSU around 450W - 500W is reasonable for this spec. But just in case for future upgradeing, you could choose a PSU with higer power.

im going to check into antoher mobo. it has to be around the same price thou becouse i dont want to go over 700$. and im using a combo becouse im not going to buy another rom. im going to put another harddrive or 2 in. so i want combo so it can read and write everything. that doesnt effect my performance at all so its fine. i got a psu, i realized that after i saw that i had no power lol. i got a 550w or 450 something like that. with 12v rail. and all that. so ill just look into another mobo.

A combo drive cannot write DVD!!!!!!!!!!!!
DVDRW can Read/ Write both DVD and CD, except the lateest Blue-ray DVD
