Problem Starting up

When ever I turn off my computer and turn it back on, nothing comes up on the screen the first time, but the next time I turn the computer on, everything loads up just fine. This happens all the time, the first boot does nothing and the 2nd always works. It happens when turning the machine off right before turning back on, or leaving the machine off for an extended periods of time. I have this motherboard: http://www.foxconnchannel.com/en-us/Product/motherboard_detail.aspx?ID=en-gb0000140&Link=Y
and I have tried using a different power supply and the problem still persists. Any help is appreciated

It's possible that there is something wrong w/mobo. Troublesome issues like this can easily be resolved by swapping out the board. Do you still have a warranty on it?

I bought the mobo from new egg and got it on Friday and the problem started from then on

If you recently bought it I would file an RMA with them. Newegg has awesome customer service. I am sending an Asus motherboard back to them tomorrow actually.

I'd agreed. Since you bought it recently, you have to send it back to them to replace.

That's a policy!

I would listen to Scott H and do that!

since 30 days have not passed I can get a refund instead of a replacement. Is there another board for around the same price that can preform better. I would like to be able to overclock my 2.4 GHz processor to 3 GHz. Other than that, it doesnt need much more
