Hi guys,
I have been reading the forum for a while but finally decided to join in. I just bought these components for a new system and was wondering if you could tell me what kinds of clock speeds I could expect out of overclocking my CPU with the ZALMAN cooler? I know many have taken it as far as 3.4GHz on the stock heatsink/fan but I am wondering if it can actually go even farther. I plan on pushing it as far as I can since I will be upgrading to a Q6600 after the second price drop anyway in Q3. I will be using it mainly as a number cruncher for my research (MATLAB if anyone knows).
BTW: I know Intel prices will drop in a couple of months but I could not wait that long (school related).
