I'm on a tight budget and this is the best that I could come up with at the moment, I can't wait, I think it'll be a huge step up from my current computer.

What do you think of it?

Gigabyte GA-965P-S3 - £69.91

Core 2 Duo E6300 - £111

GeForce XFX 7900GS - £109.28

Corsair XMS2 1024MB - £50.18

£340.47

I have a monitor, keyboard, mouse, speakers, HDD and PSU so they're Ok.

What do you think?

Personally. I think it's a wonderful upgrade! Not a bad price either. I'd say go for it! :D

Yeah, It'll certainly be better than what I have at the moment, although not being really bad, not being really all that good either! :P

Do you think the new one would be Ok for gaming?

I may get another 1GB to make 2GB when and if the prices of the Core 2 Duo's come down.

Well, it's definitely not a bad card. I'm sure you can play some of the newer games on some pretty decent settings. It's better than nothing! :D

Yeah, I'm hoping to play Crysis, lol :P

On maybe low - med... *fingers crossed*

Yeah, it's better than what I have now, no doubt about it! I really can't wait!

Looks good,What i would do is overclock the e6300 when you get it and maybe invest in another gig of ram at a later date.

Yeah, I think I'll OC, I just don't know how much by though, I won't be buying an aftermarked cooler yet, so...

I may get another 1GB of RAM.

Does anybody know if it'll be good for gaming?

i cant see why not, good enough card plus you should get away with overclocking a bit on the stock cooler. P.s when is crysis out (its the new far cry isnt it?)

Yeah! :D

I can't wait to build it, it'll be after the prices of the Core 2 Duo's have come down though, After April 22nd.

Looks good.. I don't think it'll handle Crysis all that well. You've seen the requirements for it, and what they've designed it for...
