i have a neat idea for a USB drive. ( thumbstick or whatever )

jsut say.. you go to school. you copy all your work..

but you want to go up a level or so cos you think ur lacking behind. so you copy some lessons that teachers might give you.

so to get to the point.. i wanted to say that i have a great idea..

ok its a Hackers/Leechers USB Drive.. possibly 1GB or more for leeching data and stuff. and a neat format button on it so when u get called by teachers to get your USB confiscated. just hit the format button and then all the files Delete! so just copy them again and gtfo!

isnt that neat? i think it would be really handy tool for me. because i got suspended from school for something i didnt do.. well apprently i brang porn into the school and put it on someone elses usb and they started to spread it around. so when the principal calls me.. i just hit the format button.. and then nothings there... but the thing is.. i didnt bring porn into the school.. so idk wtf is goin on..

so anyway..


whats your thoughts?

pros / cons?
 
I got what he's saying but I had to read it about 3 times. He wants a USB stick that deletes manually w/a button in case the teacher tells him to hand it over.

And if I'm understanding this part correctly, he does not have porn on his USB stick. It's just a precaution. :P
 
there is an auto delete, swallow the damn thing, flush it, or smash it. better to buy a new one then get suspended and a beating at home.
 
Most USB drives would be kinda hard to smash on the spot.... I'm not sure if throwing it on the ground would do it every time. Not to mention that it's a little suspicious if your destroying the evidence.

teacher: Can I see your usb thumb drive?

you: Ya, shure (SMASH!!) ehoops, i guess i dropped it


i read somewhere that when you short the actuial memory chip in 2 certian points with about 0.5 volts, all of the data on it is lost. i'll go look it up.
 
Only problem with a button to erase it is all would be one you would probably hit it accidently more then once loosing all your info on it and also if you have a button like that and you hit it a teacher then has probably cuase to assume you did something you shouldnt have bingo you still get in trouble..
 
i think the real moral of the story is, don't bring porn to work or school. It was obviously on your thumb drive if your drive got confiscated and searched. Why would you need a format button on your tumb drive? Don't put stuff you aren't suppose to have at work/school on it and you avoid the whole problem.
 
yeh but you press the button on the sly as you pulling out of computer. Yeh plus idiot friends would end up pressing it as soon as you finished and saved your work. lol
 
Dam horny teenagers that cant get gf's bringing porn into school sheesh how stupid is that y would you save porn to a jumpdrive anyway were you jacking it at school sheesh man...
 
i just got an idea. you could have 2 memory chips with a switch on them. that way, it won't get erased, but you can fill one chip with your school/work stuff and the other with your personal stuff (not porn). then hide the switch and when or if a teacher wants to see it, switch to the school/work one.
 
If you could solder all of that together without ruining it, then great. I would personally just have two drives, or one with two partitions, one of them hidden.
 
You could just have everything on the one drive like I do, if there's something that shouldn't be seen then it shouldn't be in school.;)

they already exist in a way. they are called secure thumb drives and they have an encyrpted partition on them that you can only access with the passkey.
