the way my harddrives are set up i have a crappy drive that my computer boots on with all of my program files on it and then i have a pair of striped drives with all of my documents and whatnot. i'm wondering, if the harddrive thet my computer boots on crashes and i reformat that drive and get my computer going again, what happens to the pair of striped drives? the information on them should be untouched, but what about when i go about importing those drives, will my computer see the information?

also, how do i go about changing the path for "my documents"?

thanks

your drives without windows on them will be fine in the event of windows failure. You can format your windopws drive 100 times, or take your "data" drives and shove them in a USB enclosure and it will all work them same.

As far as your "my documents" question ... I have no idea I've never even thought about it
