As some of us may know.
I am purchasing a laptop rather soon.
And Ill be going to different hot spots.
I want to make sure I am protected and not vulnerable, meaning, i don't want my files to be accessed on there network, by a user.


So...

Ill be using vista home premium.


Ill need...
Anti-Virus
Ad ware and malicious file removal.
a good firewall.
And whatever else you think I may need.

Anyway... will Spybot Search and Destroy and AVG run on Vista? If so, go with those, although I don't know about a firewall.

AVG doesn't work on vista. The Built in windows firewall is meant to be much better than on XP though and quite a lot of people just use that.
